Our workforce is entirely comprised of horticulture students from other countries such as, Columbia, Ukraine, Russia,
France, Haiti, Brazil, China, Japan, and Turkey. They learn management and growing techniques, proper grading of
produce, and skills for processing apple cider and apple butter. They also learn preparation and cooking techniques
for our various bakery items. Proper sanitation and inventory skills are highly emphasized.
Their stay with us is both rewarding for them and for us. Seeing the growth of the students, both personally and
professionally, is greatly fulfilling. The students take what they learn back to their country and use the knowledge
for their family farms, own businesses, or to get ahead at their jobs.
